The computation of the average speckle size from the point spread function for triangular apertures

Abstract We suggest triangular aperture modeling for the computation of speckle size using point spread function (PSF) concept. The fast Fourier transform (FFT) algorithm indicates three models apertures in computation. calculated first time average from full width at half maximum (FWHM) PSF. results are compared with sizes obtained autocorrelation images corresponding to considered showed an agreement. In analysis, I consider 1st model four equilateral apertures, each equal sides (b), along Cartesian coordinates distances center ( x d ). 2nd model, assume 16 a circular contour. contrast, 3rd sequence six black and white (B/W) zones is shown where central triangle black. obstruction attenuate low spatial frequency take transparent comparison. Also, PSF given addition, reconstructed obtained. MATLAB codes all computations plots.
